The advantages of polyester masterbatch are as follows:

(1) polyester masterbatch is easy to use

Dyeing before spinning has no special requirements for polyester production and fiber use, the original spinning equipment and the existing production process. Especially when polyester is mixed with other fibers, the use of polyester color fibers not only reduces the dyeing process, making it possible to blend fibers and polyester which are not suitable for high temperature and high pressure dyeing conditions, but also convenient to realize the style of fabric design in advance. Therefore, pre-spinning coloring can be said to be a dyeing factory without investment to some extent, and it is one of the shortcuts to solve the "bottleneck" of dyeing and finishing with advanced technology.


(2) Low cost of using polyester masterbatch:

The cost of dyeing is the consumption of energy and additives. Dyeing before spinning reduces printing and dyeing equipment and dyeing process of multiple fibers or fabrics, removes dyeing additives, combines each pigment molecule into the target product, fundamentally eliminates dye emission, reduces raw material consumption, avoids environmental pollution, reduces dyeing cost, and saves a huge amount of pollution control costs. "Compared with fiber dyeing before spinning, for every 100 tons of bulk dyed polyester staple fiber, 10,000 tons of water, 16,500 cubic meters of gas and 56,000 kilowatt hours of electricity can be saved." "Fibre dyeing can produce about 10 tonnes of waste water per 100 kg of product". According to the survey, the average dyeing dyeing fee per ton is about 4000 yuan, while the use of color masterbatch spinning dyeing, its average dyeing fee per ton is only about 1200 yuan. It can be seen that dyeing before spinning not only saves a huge amount of pollution control costs, but also coloring cost is only one third of dyeing, that is to say, dyeing cost is more than three times higher than stock solution coloring.


(3) High coloring quality of polyester masterbatch

Conventional dyeing, as mentioned above, mainly adopts disperse dyes under high temperature and high pressure conditions. However, due to the production and physical and chemical treatment of fibers, it is difficult to ensure the uniform distribution of the internal structural crystal zone and amorphous zone, and the crystal shape, dispersion property and dyeing rate of dyes are often different, so in the process of dyeing fabric is often prone to color difference, color spots, color flowers and other dyeing defects. Pre-spinning coloring is to accurately measure colorant and natural color slices before spinning, mix them evenly, then melt and filter them, and then draw silk, so that the fibers are dyed evenly. No matter the batch size, the uniformity of color can remain unchanged, and there will be no unacceptable color difference between batches. From the structure of dyeing fiber before spinning, colorant and polyester form uniform solid solution, light resistance, wash resistance, friction resistance and other items are far higher than the conventional dyeing.


(4) Good environmental protection, conducive to health

The colorant used for dyeing before spinning is solvent dye, which does not contain prohibited structures and components and does not cause harm to human body. At the same time, because the dyes used for coloring before spinning can withstand high temperature above 300℃, there is no gas and waste water discharge in the spinning process, and the utilization rate of dyes increases to 100%. Therefore, the color masterbatch coloring can be said to be environmentally friendly and healthy products.
