Chemical fiber products are inseparable from printing and dyeing. Boiler printing and dyeing is an indispensable step. This step is a "headache" for many chemical fiber companies because it is easy to produce a lot of sewage. However, there is a technique in which the raw material yarn is directly colored by the polyester masterbatch injection screw device to produce a colored yarn which does not need to be dyed by the boiler. This technology uses electric heating to color solid particles, which does not require burning boilers, and does not generate exhaust gas or waste water.
It is worth mentioning that the coloring of the polyester masterbatch greatly improves the coloring accuracy of the colored yarn in addition to zero discharge.
Polyester masterbatch has good temperature resistance, excellent filtration performance and long spinning cycle. It is widely used in pre-spinning of polyester filament and staple fiber with its excellent performance. For the high performance requirements of automotive interior fabrics, automotive interior fabric masterbatch, with excellent performance indicators, is widely used in the domestic automotive industry.
In actual spinning applications, the addition ratio of the masterbatch and the spinning process should be adjusted according to different filament denier, filament shape and slicing properties (including light or matting). It is recommended to use a temperature control of 280~295 °C. Polyester masterbatch has strong hygroscopicity. It is recommended to pre-dry it before use to avoid excessive moisture from entering the melt and affecting the processing quality.
