On June 25th, the launching ceremony of the "Beautiful Xiangxi Jinxiu Tujia" Tujia Brocade Exhibition was held at the Museum of Southwest University. The exhibition was sponsored by the school and the Chongqing Textile and Garment Federation, the College of Textile and Apparel, and the museum, and co-organized by the Southwestern National Education and Psychology Research Center and the China Rural Construction Institute. Nearly 200 people from Hunan Province, Chongqing related institutions, research institutes and villages and towns participated in the launch ceremony.
Vice President Zhou Changyong delivered a speech. He mentioned that culture is a continuation of the national and national spirit. Excellent traditional culture is a concentrated expression of the national spirit and a precious cultural treasure. It is hoped that teachers and students in this event will seriously appreciate the charm of traditional ethnic culture, carry forward and protect intangible cultural heritage, and consciously assume the mission of cultural heritage. He pointed out that the features and connotations contained in fashion are part of the concentrated expression and commanding heights of China's textile industry’s future efforts to seek international competitiveness. Tujia national heritage, Liu Xidai, a master of Chinese arts and crafts, donated Tujia brocade to the school museum. Huang Min, deputy director of the museum, issued a collection certificate for Ms. Liu Daixi.
After the launching ceremony, the guests and teachers and students visited the exhibition area. The exhibits are all from the Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in Hunan Province. They are: "Recalling the Past - The Tujia Brocade is known and known", "Speak Now - The Tujia Brocade and the Japanese" and "The Future of the Future - Tujia Brocade." Some of them are designed to promote the intangible cultural heritage, promote the fusion of Tujia brocade craftsmanship and modern costumes, and present the exquisite and creative design of traditional craftsmanship.
The guests also participated in the first seminar on traditional heritage inheritance innovation and rural revitalization. Vice President of Chongqing Research Institute for Nationalities, Prof. Yu Jiping of Yangtze Normal University, National Heritage of Tujia Brocade, Liu Dawei of Chinese Arts and Crafts Master, Xiang Xiaofu, Director of Village of Nebra Village, Xiangxi Tujia Miao Autonomous Prefecture, and Chief of the Village, Chongqing, Chongqing Beibei District Beixi District non-genetic inheritor Russell, Chongqing Normal University teacher of clothing Wang Xueqi, Tong Min, Li Cheng, School of Textile and Clothing teachers Zhou Li and related professional Ben Shuosheng attended the meeting and made speeches, respectively, on traditional craft protection and How to carry out methods of inheritance, training of inheritors under modern social environment, how to strengthen the protection of intangible cultural heritage in rural revitalization and measures, and how to carry out cooperation in industries, colleges, and villages, etc. Long Zhanglin hosted.
