Chemical fiber masterbatch, as the core raw material in the production of chemical fiber products, is quietly promoting technological innovation and green transformation in the textile industry. It is a solid solution formed by uniformly loading an excessive amount of colorants and functional additives into the resin. By premixing pigments, additives and carrier resins into granular form, a high degree of unity between functionality and processability is achieved. This seemingly tiny material is actually the key link connecting the basic raw materials and the terminal products in the chemical fiber industry chain.

In traditional printing and dyeing processes, textiles need to go through multiple dyeing procedures, which not only consume a lot of energy and cause significant pollution, but also keep the cost high. The application of Chemical fiber masterbatch has completely changed this situation. Through the original liquid coloring technology, chemical fiber manufacturing enterprises can directly mix Chemical fiber masterbatches into the spinning solution or melt to produce colored fibers that do not require subsequent dyeing and finishing. This transformation not only shortened the production process by more than 30%, but also reduced the energy consumption per ton of fiber by approximately 40% and cut wastewater discharge by 90%.

The research and development of functional Chemical fiber masterbatches has further expanded the application boundaries of chemical fibers. Antibacterial masterbatches, by adding antibacterial agents such as silver ions and zinc ions, can effectively inhibit bacterial growth and are widely used in fields such as medical textiles and sportswear. Anti-aging masterbatch, through the synergistic effect of ultraviolet absorbers and antioxidants, extends the service life of products such as outdoor sunshades and automotive interiors by 2 to 3 times. The sun protection masterbatch increases the UPF value of chemical fiber materials to over 50 through highly efficient ultraviolet blocker, providing long-lasting protection for outdoor products such as sun-protective clothing and sun hats. These innovations not only meet consumers' demands for the functionality of products, but also promote the extension of chemical fiber materials into high value-added fields.

At present, China's chemical fiber masterbatch industry has formed a complete system of research and development, production and application. Through cooperation among industry, academia and research, our company, Polydi, has overcome the key technologies for the preparation of functional masterbatches and achieved large-scale production of more than ten types of special masterbatches such as antibacterial, far-infrared and conductive ones.
