Instructions for use of polyester masterbatch

In actual spinning applications, the addition ratio of masterbatch and spinning processing technology should be adjusted according to different monofilament size, filament shape and slicing properties (including gloss or extinction), etc. It is recommended to control the temperature at 280~295℃. Polyester coloring masterbatch has strong hygroscopicity. It is recommended to pre-dry it before use to avoid excessive water being brought into the melt and affecting the processing quality.

Polyester masterbatch products include: polyester FDY masterbatch, polyester DTY masterbatch, polyester ATY masterbatch, polyester BCF masterbatch, polyester fine denier masterbatch, polyester staple fiber masterbatch, polyester non-woven fabric color Masterbatch, PET biaxially oriented film masterbatch, polyester luminous masterbatch.

There are two main types of raw materials used in polyester masterbatches: colorants and carriers. Depending on the colorant and carrier used, some masterbatches also need to add additives. Generally, if the colorant is organic or inorganic pigment and the carrier is a low-melting polymer, it is generally necessary to add appropriate additives. If the colorant is polyester soluble dye and the carrier is polyester itself, there is generally no need to add any additives. The former situation is similar to the general plastic masterbatch, but the requirements for various indicators are higher, so I won't repeat it here. If you prepare high-grade polyester masterbatch, such as filament-grade polyester masterbatch, it is generally considered that polyester soluble dyes are used, and polyester itself is better.
