② High Transparency Masterbatch

Product Features:

Optical grade polyester films have excellent optical properties such as low haze, high light transmittance, high surface finish, small thickness tolerance, etc. They can be widely used as diffusion films, brightness enhancement films, reflective films, anti-static protection films, protective films for touch panels, and films for flexible displays in high-end liquid crystal display devices. In addition, the application scope of optical grade polyester film is expanding, such as UV protection film for automotive applications.

This type of masterbatch adopts special materials, which can effectively solve the apparent problems of the film surface generated during the production of BOPET film, such as scratches, crystal dots, rainbow patterns, etc., so as to improve the light transmittance and reduce the haze. In addition, this type of masterbatch can also solve the winding problem. High transmission masterbatch has the advantages of good high temperature resistance, good compatibility, high transmission, low haze, high clarity, etc., and in the processing and use of the process does not precipitate, will not decompose, good color and luster.

③ Split Masterbatch

Product Features:

Split masterbatch uses SiO2 as the opening agent, the content is 6%, after special dispersion treatment, has strong anti-adhesion and dispersion, can be uniformly dispersed in the film, in the film surface to form a lot of micro-fine and hard protrusions, thus reducing the contact area between the film, to achieve the purpose of lowering the friction coefficient of the surface of the film, so that the film is easy to open. At the same time due to the existence of these protrusions, the external air is easy to enter between the two layers of film, to avoid the formation of a vacuum between the two layers of film pasted together, thus preventing the film from sticking to the role. The masterbatch has the advantages of good high temperature resistance and compatibility, and does not precipitate or decompose during processing and use, and has good color.

Using Ratio:

It is recommended to silica in the film surface content of 700-1200ppm range, through the test to determine the appropriate dosage, in order to achieve both the opening and will be able to control the haze in a reasonable range at the same time does not affect the winding.

④ Anti-aging Masterbatch

Product Features:

The existence of a large number of ultraviolet rays, high temperature, moisture, oxygen, etc. in nature will have a great negative effect on the use of PET, photodegradation of ultraviolet light so that the chemical bonds in the PET polymer suffered damage to the fracture, ultimately resulting in discoloration and physical properties (tensile strength, elongation, etc.) decline, which is often referred to as "aging".

This type of masterbatch adopts highly efficient and stable light stabilizer, which can effectively inhibit the degradation of the formed free radical polymer, and achieve good polymer anti-aging purpose. This type of masterbatch has the advantages of good high temperature resistance and compatibility, etc., and does not precipitate or decompose during processing and use. ⑤ Hydrolysis Resistant Masterbatch

Product Features:

High temperature, water and oxygen, which are present in large quantities in nature, can have a major negative impact on the use of PET. Heat, water, and oxygen will lead to easy hydrolysis of the ester group on the main chain of PET, which will cause PET to degrade, resulting in a decline in physical properties and yellowing of the color. 

This kind of masterbatch can close the active end carboxyl group produced after the hydrolysis of the molecular chain of the material, prevent the further hydrolysis reaction and thus effectively inhibit the mechanical properties of the material caused by hydrolysis, and greatly extend the service life of the product. This kind of masterbatch has good sealing performance, stable structure, good compatibility and so on, and does not affect the transparency during processing and use. In addition, it does not bring in color stains.

Using Ratio:

① It is recommended to add 0.6% to high viscosity low carboxylic acid (viscosity 0.76, carboxylic acid content 10ppm) resin, which can reach 60h;

② It is recommended to add 2.5% to low viscosity low carboxylic acid (viscosity 0.7, carboxylic acid content 12.5ppm) resin, which can reach 60h.

⑥ Light Diffusion Masterbatch

Product Features:

⑦ Matte Masterbatch

Product Features:

Matte film has the advantages of high haze, low gloss, good haziness, good optical properties and excellent surface properties, with better aluminizing and printing performance. These products are now mainly used in application release industry, electronics industry, label manufacturing industry, special hot stamping, vacuum aluminizing and other industries. Matte masterbatch has the characteristics of good dispersion, long screen change cycle, less screen change and high concentration. Users can adjust the dosage to produce various glossy matte film.

Using Ratio:

Please add the masterbatch according to the thickness of the film and the application of the product. In general, it is recommended that the amount of masterbatch to be added to the surface layer of the film should be between 40%-50%.

⑧ Pearlescent Masterbatch

Pearlescent masterbatch is a customized cost-effective product specially designed for BOPET industry. The BOPET pearlescent film made of this kind of masterbatch has the advantages of smooth surface without crystal point, high covering power, pure white color and good pearlescent effect, etc. In addition, the high viscosity of this type masterbatch can make full use of the edge material.。

Using Ratio:

Please add according to the thickness of the film and the application of the product. In general, it is recommended that the amount of pearlescent masterbatch in the film is 30%-40%.

⑨ Flame Retardant Masterbatch

Product Features:

Almost all white plastics are based on hydrocarbons, so they are almost always combustible. Flame retardants can protect people and property by slowing down the spread of fire and toxic substances, and even, in some specific cases, by preventing combustion altogether. Nowadays, more and more film products and sheet products are required to have flame retardant effect in order to protect the manufactured products from fire damage and ensure the safety of consumers.

Flame retardant masterbatch for film is our transparent flame retardant masterbatch specialized for PET film and sheet. It is halogen-free, safe and has obvious flame retardant effect, which can reach UL94 V-0 grade. In addition, this kind of masterbatch has good physical properties, basically does not affect the performance of the product.

Using Ratio:

Recommended additive level of 25μm BOPET is 60% MTA10380-A1. Customers are advised to adjust the additive level according to their own product requirements, but be sure to test and confirm the flame retardant properties before confirming the appropriate additive level.
